Health, Politics and Your Business

This year’s conference focuses on the ARC Service Review Report which will have a significant impact on your business in the future. The Review will be released in late August and our conference will be the only time to question the authors and raise any issues you have.
If the following types of questions are important to you, you need to be at conference
- What are the actual costs of providing care?
- How many providers are making a return?
- How many facilities are making a loss?
- What are the characteristics of facilities making losses?
- What is the most efficient size for a facility?
- Is there going to be a reduction in demand for any service in the next five years?
- What is the projected demand for each service in the next 5 to 10 years?
- What alternative models of care are possible to aged residential care?
- What can be done to better support aged residential care?
NZACA’s two hour strategy session will also focus on the review and our response. This session will provide members with an opportunity to have their say on this very important document.
