Simon O'Dowd

The owner and operator of Alpine Retirement Ltd, Simon has been working in the sector for more than 30 years and is a long-standing member of NZACA.

Max is currently CEO of CHT a charitable trust in Auckland. They provide residential care facilities, dementia, hospital and home care services from 14 different locations in Auckland and the Bay of Plenty.

David Hall

David is currently employed as the CEO of Cambridge Resthaven Trust, having been appointed to this position in 2001. Cambridge Resthaven provides resthome and hospital care and runs a retirement village comprising both independent living units and serviced apartments.

Warick Dunn

Warick has been Chief Executive of the Masonic Villages Trust since 2004. The Trust operates three Lower North Island facilities in Lower Hutt, Levin and Masterton. Each location has a residential facility and an associated retirement village.

Rhonda Sherriff

Rhonda is a registered nurse who is the co-Owner of Chatswood Rest Home and Retirement Village in Canterbury. She also oversees is operationally on a part-time basis. Rhonda has worked in the sector for over 25 years, in quality coordination, management and operational management roles.

Malcolm Hendry

Malcolm has been Chief Executive of Birchleigh Residential Care Centre and Chatsford Lifestyle Community since February 2007. Both businesses are based in Mosgiel, just south of Dunedin. Birchleigh is a 83-bed facility offering Rest Home, Hospital and Specialist Dementia care. Chatsford is a 267 unit resort style retirement community.

Gordon MacLeod

Gordon is Chief Executive at Ryman Healthcare. He joined the Ryman Healthcare in 2007. He was previously a Corporate Finance Partner with Pricewaterhouse Coopers and a Finance Director of a London listed hi-tech engineering company.

Brien Cree

Brien is the Managing Director of Radius Care which has 22 aged care facilities across New Zealand. He is the majority shareholder in Radius Care, having started the company in 2003.

Ann Coughlan

Ann is presently Chief Executive Officer of Mercy Parklands – a 97 bed private hospital in Ellerslie, Auckland. Mercy Parklands is part of the Sisters of Mercy Healthcare group. She has held this position for over ten years.

Earl Gasparich

Earl is Chief Executive at Oceania Healthcare, which operates 49 aged-care and retirement village facilities across New Zealand.

Carolyn Cooper

Carolyn joined Bupa New Zealand as Director Clinical Service Improvement (CSI) in April 2017. In July 2017 the Director of Operations and Director of CSI Roles were combined and the role is now known as Chief Operating Officer and Lead Nurse NZ.
