NZACA Conference in Rotorua cancelled

Given the current situation, the Association has taken the decision to cancel this year’s conference that was to be held in Rotorua from 18 to 20 August.
We cannot plan ahead for the event with any certainty at all not knowing what Alert Level the country will be in, whether public gatherings will be allowed and at what point we will all be with COVID-19.
We appreciate there will be disappointment that the conference is not going ahead, but we know that members, exhibitors and sponsors alike will understand this is the only sensible decision that can be made in the current environment.
The team is scoping options for a virtual event which we would aim to bring to members in November. We will also be looking at rolling out more seminars and workshops in a virtual format in the second half of this year. At this stage, the Excellence in Care Awards will still go ahead, also in the second half of 2020.
