Neil has joined the NZACA as the Senior Policy Analyst. He will be working on a wide range of issues across the sector, including nursing leadership, immigration and the ARRC services agreement. Neil’s early career was in social services before specialising in policy work. He was born in England and has lived in New Zealand for the last 15 years. Before making Wellington his home, Neil has lived in Auckland, Palmerston North and Paihia. Both his mother and sister worked in aged care. He has two grown-up children, one of whom has studied maths whilst the other is currently working in mental health services. As an experienced policy professional, Neil is excited by the opportunity to give a stronger voice to our sector. His current hobby is improvised theatre which he says is much fun!
