ACA Symposium: Pathways to progress: Advancing careers and elevating aged care

We are excited to announce our first-ever Aged Care Symposium, set to take place on Monday, 21 July 2025, at the Sir Howard Morrison Centre in Rotorua.

Join us for an inspiring and future-focused symposium, Pathway to Progress: Advancing Careers and Elevating Aged Care, where we explore the evolving landscape of aged care careers, workforce development, and leadership opportunities. Hosted by the dynamic Kanoa Lloyd, this event will bring together industry leaders, and professionals to discuss different career pathways, workforce sustainability, and strategies to support and grow the aged care sector.

We are honoured to welcome Ziena JalilĀ as our keynote speaker – an award-winning strategist and advocate for diversity, leadership, and workforce transformation. With her extensive experience in governance, and international relations, Ziena will provide valuable insights on shaping a resilient and future-ready aged care workforce.

This symposium is designed for aged care professionals, educators, and stakeholders who are passionate about strengthening and expanding career opportunities in the sector. Through thought-provoking discussions with expert panels, and networking opportunities, we aim to inspire action and collaboration for a thriving aged care workforce.
