Tracey was a Member of Parliament between 2011 and 2020 and served as the Minister for Seniors, Minister for Children, Minister of Internal Affairs and Associate Minister of Education from 2017 to 2020. In 2019, as Minister, Tracey launched the Better Later Life Strategy to encourage positive attitudes toward older people and raise awareness of age discrimination. More recently the Board Chair of the New Zealand Qualifications Authority and member of the Board of the New Zealand Transport Agency Waka Kotahi Tracey has joined the team to continue with her passion to deliver better outcomes for our most senior New Zealanders.
