After several years’ hard lobbying for immigration policies that enable rather than hinder aged residential care providers, it seems the government has come to its senses.

Aged residential care occupancy for 30 September 2018 quarter
The national occupancy figure at 30 September 2018 is 87.6% (Figure 1, red line). This is effectively the same as the 87.7% recorded in 30 June 2018[1].

Aged residential care occupancy for 31 March 2018 quarter
The national occupancy figure at 31 March 2018 is 87.9% (Figure 1, red line). This is up 1.0% from the 86.9% recorded in 31 December 2017.
